have a read (:

Thank you for the visit and the comments. It's nice to see other Jesus lovers on Deviantart. Just remember Christianity isn't a religion, it's a lifestyle, the way you choose to live your life. Keep up the great writing and poetry. I know for me the Lord has used my love for writing as a gift to glorify him.

I know what you mean. I found you because I was searching for other Jesus lovers. It's hard to feel like you are the only one.

I also know that Christianity is a lifestyle. Holiness is a process, not a destination.

I've just begun to realize that I should let my writing be used for God's glory, and now that I've finally surrendered myself to be used by Him, my writing is vastly improving. I take no credit.
:icondusklupe:
I know. Of course. *glory wave*. Amen to that. :D

I've been on this long, so very long, road now for years and it still amazes me just how much more real God gets with each step I take and each time I choose to keep following Him. Its so crazy when I had finally given myself up to the Lord how much better life became even when I'm still poor and don't have a good job or are struggling with the day to day things that could pull me down. I finally saw just how precious humans are to Him and how much He wants us to surrender to Him even in the mists of how much in this world (and of Him) we really just don't understand. It's living a life of love and choosing to be compassionate and loving even when I don't want to be. Thank you so much for helping spread His love, for loving him and choosing to believe. You are a rare jewel.

But just like God can use things of this world to glorify Him so can the Devil use this world to turn you from Him. So, just from personal experience, don't let that happen and don't let what muck on dA there is (because it can get kinda crazy in here) and of this world keep you from shining. God bless.

Are you a preacher? Cuz, I'm starting to think it wouldn't be a bad profession for you.

I know what you mean about life getting better, even though things are rough. When the Holy Spirit wraps his arms around you... it's like nothing bad can touch you, nothing can bring you down. ^.^ And sometimes it's when you realize that the Holy Spirit has had his arms wrapped around you this whole time that life gets better.

DA really does have a lot of muck. I'm glad I have you to keep me encouraged!

Anyway, Thanks! I can write better than I can say it. I actually am not much of a talker but I can write it out! I've had my share of ups and downs. I love sharing my wisdom & faith with others. It's true that wisdom comes with age. :)

I think it's time to really get down to the bottom of living for Jesus and what it truly means to 'take up your cross'. It means persecution b/c God did not say he will not take it away (he says pray for strength & perseverance), it means getting hurt (sometimes by friends and choosing to forgive or accept forgiveness), means doing what's right & not what's convenient.

Yep! It's how we choose to deal with the good and bad of life. Sometimes I get caught up in the bad that I don't always see the good that could come out of the bad & how God can work through it. You're right, the Holy Spirit is a comforter & a friend. When we encounter the Holy Spirit there's no way we can come away unchanged. I have to admit I'm not the best at helping others understand. I don't claim to understand much. Only one person does and it ain't me!

We all need a boost. Sometimes I get a boost is by encouraging others. Funny how it works that way. I'll stop there before this becomes a novel. :P

Heh. :aww: No but I lead a home group out of my church called Lifegroup for a semester and a half and I've had my share of ups and downs. It's all how you choose to deal with it, I guess.

I'm watching you because, I'm afraid that if I don't I might miss something really awesome.
